I didn't like the way the owner treated his staff (especially women). He was rude and leaves his employees and customers in hot conditions without air conditioning. I waited over 4 hours for a repair and was sweltering.

D’shon, If only you knew how much I spent on the brand new AC unit for the waiting room. It’s brand new and I had it repaired 2 times already because it works then stops, and just like your car which needed repair the ac finally got fixed today. Come by and take a look so you can confirm the waiting room is comfortable for you. This is no reason to leave a bad review, I shared with you all the issues with your car and gave you sound advice and included a $50 discount on the repair as well. I’m sorry you felt the need to leave this feedback and unfortunately what you should know is that it affects my employees as much as it affects me. If you have a real concern about the temperature in the waiting room you could have asked me why it’s hot and I would’ve explained all of this to you in person. I wish you all the best.

Have AAA, they always did the right thing by my Mom and I with all our vehicles, prices were excellent, used insurance whenever possible. I highly recommend them to any and everyone !

this is the first time to this store. people are nice here. i left my car for inspection , everything is good. just the battery is kinda need to replace. probably i will replace next time. 5stars for this time visit.

This is my go to auto care place! I have been going here for years. They specialize in luxury vehicle repairs and the prices are always fair. I recommend to all my friends to take their car here. The owner is the most honest positive person you will meet. He will tell you if repair is worth it or not. They dont just take your money. I cant say enough great things about this place. I moved out of state 2 years ago but I still go back because it's hard to find good honest mechanics. Great team at Island car care. Thanks Danny for always looking out!

You’ll be greated with friendly faces and positive attitudes, which in my opinion is a rarity for anywhere in NYC. The owner Danny is as honest and polite as they come. Pete the mechanic knows his stuff and will be happy to take the time to explain exactly what is wrong with the vehicle. Nice to know that they give a 1 year 12,000 mile warranty with all work and if you have AAA they double that guarantee. I highly recommend this place to everyone whether your a local or traveling through the island and unfortunately have car trouble. These guys will take care of you and give you piece of mind.
