Staten Island Auto Repair

I like this place because of the old cars of the 50's they have on display. Although they can use alittle upgrade in this auto place, would be awesome. Also, it's across the street from clifton train station.

Great, knowledgeable, friendly service at a reasonable price. My wife and I have been bringing our cars here for 15 years and we would never go anywhere else. From inspections, flat tires & oil changes to major repairs, Danny and his guys do it all, quickly and correctly. We even got a complete engine rebuild done, from start to finish. And you'll never find a nicer business owner anywhere. Danny is always up front and honest about what is involved in the current repair job and he usually recommends what your car may need next, to keep it running perfectly, but with no ‘up sell’ or pressure to "do it now". He takes a genuine interest in his customers and the safety of their vehicles and it shows in the solid work that he and his guys do on every visit. Five Star, 'old school' customer service...

Another wonderful job by Island Car Care! My 2009 Jeep Wrangler is running better than ever! It needed a little more love than I expected, but if not for Danny and his crew taking the extra time to give my Wrangler a more careful review, my 11 year old Jeep would be in big trouble. An ounce of prevention is better than getting stranded on the highway! They know how I am with my vehicle and I appreciate the time and care they put into make sure my Jeep keeps on running right! Could not have been a smoother experience. Danny was incredibly nice and explained everything as we went along. After not having a car on the road for a while, I'm glad I have a trusted place to go if I need anything.

I’ve had very good experiences with Island Car Care so far. A few years back they even towed my car and replaced my battery on Christmas Eve! I’ve had my entire exhaust replaced from front to back and they’re taking care of a small leak that’s happened in the meantime under the warranty that came with that. They also replaced my struts and I’ve had inspections and oil changes done there and it’s always been a pleasant and professional experience.

Patient and understanding. I always learn something new about my car when I bring it in, because they walk me through the specific work they are doing. Maybe after 20+ visits - in the distant future - I will have a working knowledge of the inside of a car!

I had an appointment with the dealership for a nys inspection but decided to patronize this establishment because of the positive reviews. I'm glad I did. The mechanics were super friendly and the work was competent. Thanks guys.
