Went to inspect my car. At first the business owner said I had to change oils. I told I just did for my car. Then he said I had to change my wipers. I asked how much for replacements? He told me $85? What the heck! This is ripping money! I declined to the changes because it was way too expensive (Costco selling at $8.99 each). He told me I had to fail your inspection. Yet he charged $37 and failed my inspection for not changing the $85 windshield wipers. What a shady business. Will never visit this place again.
It’s unfortunate you need to lie Kenneth. I knew and expected this review. Unfortunately I will not break the law for you. Your car did not pass inspection. The wipers were torn and are part of the NYS inspection. I quoted you $46 which included installation. It’s funny how you conveniently took a photo showing our generic labor rate per hour but not the part of the invoice which shows the 0.00. Please take another picture and be honest showing the whole invoice, including the right edge which you intentionally left off. You can even see that it shows 0 for the hrs. Section. In addition, the inspection is pass or fail, once again as per the DMV requirements. In addition our reputation for honesty and workmanship speak for itself and I will not tarnish that for which we’ve worked hard to earn in this community. As far as your oil change. Your oil light is on, I mentioned that it’s on and that means it’s usually due. You said your parents did the oil change, I replied ok, it seems the place the took it to did not clear the maintenance due. That’s the only reason we mentioned the oil change. We will not do something against the law or against my integrity to repair and inspect cars for safety. I do wish you all the best in your journey.
