This mechanic has let me down second time. This time I brought my BMW X3 with an issue, and I feel like I was overcharged without getting proper results. I paid $500 for 3 hours of diagnostic work, and they estimated 11 hours for the repair. Frustrated, I took the car to a BMW specialist instead. They diagnosed the problem in 1 hour and completed the repair in 6 hours. While the mechanics here seem skilled, their pricing feels excessive and unreasonable.

Do yourself a favor - The next time your vehicle needs service, bring it to Island Car Car. Danny and his guys do everything from inspections and oil changes, to major repairs. And they do it right. We've been getting our cars service here for almost 20 years and would never go anywhere else.

Can’t say enough positive things about this place. Absolutely stellar. First off I’ll say I’m extremely picky as to who touches my car as I usually do my own work to them but due to a recent spinal surgery, unfortunately I can’t do anything that involves heavy lifting or work. And let me tell you, Danny and his crew were extremely professional, personable and considerate. I brought them a drivers side axle and a set of sway bar end links to install on my Honda on a random Thursday afternoon and it was done same day within 2-3 hours. Very high quality work and very fast turn around times and the price on the labor was very reasonable. Keeping my 360k mile 1999 honda odyssey alive one piece at a time. Thank you so much for the great experience! Will definitely be back in the future for the next project.
