Danny and his shop are the consummate professionals. I came in needing a new clutch and flywheel, which is not cheap due to the amount of labor needed but most importantly Ford requires a dual mass flywheel in order for it to feel like a smooth ride, which alone is an $1100-$1300 part and can only be supplied from a Ford dealer. With supply issues in the pandemic, Danny was able to track one down in a timely manner. The car was also in need of a full suspension and brakes, so after realizing the cost as a total, I stuck with just doing the clutch and cancelling the other services at this time after telling them to go ahead and order the parts. Danny was fully understanding and I was appreciative of his attention to detail, patience with going over the available brands of parts and his personal opinion. Re: the clutch....like new but better than factory original because he set it with the appropriate amount of pedal travel, which allows for less time on the pedal and smoother engagement.

Good, reliable, trustworthy mechanic. Got me in and out with an inspection in 45 minutes. When something needs to be addressed, they bring it up. When everything's ok, there are no surprises.

Went in to get an inspection, tire rotation and oil change and left a customer for life. Danny, owner/operator of Island Car Care is very knowledgeable, stands by his work and is very honest.
